The Pope's new Twitter page has had a makeover and is now Sede Vacante - the empty chair. A seamless transition for his followers, from the old Pope, through the empty chair, to the new Pope.
Mind you, the archiving of the old Pope's tweets means that all links to them are now void and would have to be reconfigured to point to the archived versions.
A nuisance for some of use who have linked to them but probably a small price to pay for the seamless transition outlined in the above post.
